I remember one time a few years ago, I decided to play a Lord of the Rings video game with him, co-op. We're running out of a cave with falling rocks and every time we would be right at the entrance, a rock would fall on me and I'd die, so we would fail. I think we tried five or six times before my brother gave up on me. I'M JUST NOT MEANT TO BE GOOD AT THESE THINGS.
One of my friends has had the patience to try playing with me, though. We both have XBox Live accounts, so we'll play co-op games if we have anything similar. Unfortunately, the games we try I either get tired of quickly or, once I finally get the hang of a game, he's played it so many times, he's sick of it. I don't like to play by myself, so I usually don't bother trying to finish. We are currently on the look out for something else to try. Maybe a computer game instead.
There have been two games that I almost finished. Sly 2 for PS2 and Harry Potter 2 for the GameCube. They weren't completed for the same reason, and it's extremely frustrating. For both games, I saved them right before the final boss. When I went to go play the games again, though, both were done! Magically! I did not play them! For whatever, they completely skipped the last battle and told me I completed the game! I WAS SO CLOSE! And no, because I did not fight the final boss, I am not counting it as completed.
I will admit, there is a game that I am very close to finishing right now. I've been playing it for about four years now. Yes, I know, that's pathetic. In all fairness, I couldn't play when I was at college and it's three discs long. I do have to be pretty bored to play, or just in the right mood. Anyway, the game is called Blue Dragon. I do enjoy it, it's a cool RPG, and I think it's kinda cute. I am so close to the end, I really should just suck it up and do it. Maybe I will next week.
Since Tetris is my favorite video game, I will end this post with this song because I find it hilarious and kind of true.
